What Will Rehab Cost with TriWest?:

Your treatment costs may be reduced, thanks to TriWest. TriWest contracts through the VA, which approves how much of your treatment is covered. Your coverage will generally depend on your location, history, and the level of care you require. For instance, if you’ve undergone rehab at a VA hospital but relapsed, there’s a better chance to get approval elsewhere. The same is true if you don’t live close to a VA hospital or urgently require inpatient services that are unavailable.

TriWest Out-of-Network Rehab Costs:

If Tree House Recovery is outside your TriWest network, that does not necessarily mean that your insurance won’t cover any expenses. Depending on your circumstances, the VA may agree to provide you with in-network coverage. Or you can file a claim to be partially reimbursed by the VA for your out-of-pocket treatment costs.

Levels of Care TriWest May Cover:

Detox: Detox is the highest and most expensive level of care. If your body has become dependent on drugs and alcohol to the point where you feel symptoms of withdrawal, the first part of your recovery should be a medically supervised detox. Detox provides 24-hour supervision and medications to keep you safe and comfortable during withdrawal.

Inpatient (Residential): Inpatient rehab is the second-highest and most expensive level of care. Like detox, you live day and night in a medical facility where you’re treated by medical doctors and nurses. However, medical supervision is less extensive, and you will attend group and individual therapy sessions.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP): PHP is the third-highest level of care. It focuses on helping you learn to thrive while sober. At Tree House Recovery, our PHP program is 5-6 hours a day, five days a week. It combines evidence-based talk therapies with daily training and regimented activities to rebuild your fighting spirit and create a life where you can be happy, healthy, and at peace without substances, by working on your

Physical Strength: Be Strong. As a fighter, you know that exercise is a stress that makes your body and mind stronger and more resilient. Our program will push your body every day, making you stronger physically and mentally. Not only will exercise become a useful tool in your arsenal to reduce stress and remove cravings, but you’ll learn how it physically grows your brain — repairing the damage done by substances.

Unit Strength: Stronger Together. As a veteran, one of the most significant traumas is being disconnected from your fellow soldiers. We rebuild that connection with a different brotherhood of teammates. At Tree House, you’ll perform amazing physical feats that aren’t possible by yourself. By relying on your team to succeed, you’ll develop a lifelong bond that will persevere after graduation.

Mental Strength: Find Peace. Tree House has helped many veterans overcome addiction. A critical part of this is our evidence-based therapies that help you control your emotions, deal with stress, reduce anxiety, and overcoming automatically negative ways of thinking. If you can do this in daily life, you won’t need substances.

Intensive Outpatient (IOP): Intensive Outpatient Rehab (IOP) is the second-lowest level of care. It typically focuses on practicing the habits and skills learned in PHP. Our 3-5 hours per day, 5 days per week. Some people choose to begin IOP immediately after detox, but at Tree House, it is a step down from PHP where people receive

  • Exercise Therapy (see ESM
  • Addiction Education
  • Adventure Therapy (see ABIT

Outpatient: Outpatient care, or aftercare, is the lowest and least expensive level of care. At Tree House, it includes three one-hour therapy sessions per week in the evenings to accommodate work schedules. Outpatient care is recommended for a short time after graduation to debrief or solve challenges to your sobriety.
